In February 2016, Google announced that they were ending support for the GSA. Ultimately, it will be replaced by a cloud-only offering called Google Cloud Search, but at present this is only available as part of a G-Suite subscription and is limited to content stored within G-Suite.
Existing customers are able to renew to the end of 2018, but now is the time for existing GSA customers to be looking at the alternatives.
