Over the past three years our team have created some awesome products and we’re now on the hunt for a delivery minded Scrum Master (or equivalent) who is passionate about their craft to join a highly engaged product team and help us take our software development practices to the next level.

In February this year we joined the Fujitsu family and with that comes great opportunities to scale at pace. We have a lengthy backlog that needs some fresh eyes and the need for an agile scrum expert who can make us run faster.

About the Role

You will be joining a fast-paced development team and be responsible for working on multiple exciting cyber security focussed software solutions. You’ll work extensively with the business and development teams to ensure development sprints are defined, scheduled, and run efficiently to meet business requirements. You’ll also need to make sure the development team have the time and space needed to complete their work with minimal roadblocks. You’ll have the opportunity to really make your mark with this role and help shape the team and its working practices. Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and facilitate daily (virtual) stand-up meetings, sprint planning, release planning, and sprint retrospectives for the team.
  • Ensure transparency in communication and create an environment of collective accountability and continuous progress.
  • Promote a collaborative team environment that fosters creativity and innovation.
  • Provide visibility of team status and issues to senior management.
  • Coordinate and schedule the execution of deliverables across multiple teams.
  • Mentor team members on efficient and effective practices.
  • Collaborate with the Product Manager to ensure effective backlog management.

About you

  • 5+ years' experience working within software development environments
  • 5 + years' experience working in a scrum master role or equivalent within development teams
  • Ideally have experience within public sector and critical infrastructure industry verticals (open to other industries however)
  • Understanding or keen interest in Cyber Security
  • Come from an agile delivery background and be passionate about delivery
  • Solid understanding of Agile, DevOps, Scrum, Kanban, and/or other software development methodologies
  • Exceptional stakeholder and relationship management skills
  • Experience with the Microsoft Azure DevOps toolset
