We have an exceptional opportunity based out of our Canberra office for someone who is ready to join our sales account team as the Defence and Intelligence Account Executive.  We are looking for a motivated person who has experience working within the Defence and Intelligence sector to drive efficiencies through technology and ultimately enrich the lives of end users.  

oobe have several active Defence and Intelligence accounts and are looking to expand and grow within an ever-increasing opportunity landscape. This role will be responsible for identifying and qualifying sales and development opportunities as well as managing client success for prospective and existing clients.

With a focus on cloud, networking, and end user computing, we are looking for applicants who have a working knowledge of and have held a leadership role in one of the following fields: 

  • Modern and secure workspace delivery 
  • Microsoft technologies including Azure, M365 and Windows 
  • End user computing and networking technologies 
  • Enterprise cloud, infrastructure, and storage solutions 
  • Desktop management/modernisation
  • Amazon Web Services
  • Cyber security


  • Business development - craft proposals and engage with clients from draft statement of work through to signed contract 
  • Engage and represent oobe at the senior leadership level within Defence and Intelligence
  • Represent oobe at various industry forums focussed on Defence and Intelligence
  • Account management – effective communication with clients to ensure expectations are met or exceeded
  • Technical presales - translate customer requirements into solutions and architecture 
  • Leadership - work with the wider oobe team to enhance internal capability and standards 
  • Project management - on occasion, assist with the delivery of complex projects
  • Quality assurance - ensuring that solutions are designed and implemented according to an agreed scope and contract
  • Other business development activities such as growing our existing customer relationships
